How to Assemble a Military Cot
Many people get frustrated when trying to assemble a military cot. Once you learn the proper technique, it is fairly easy to put together. It does require some time and patience to get it right, but you will get better over time with a little practice.
How to Assemble a Military Cot
Unhook the end sticks from the body of the cot.
Unfold the cot until the side rails are straight. The legs should be sitting on one side of the bars.
Pull the side rails away from each other, which will enable the cot to stand on its own.
Take one of the sticks on the end and slide it through the tube in the canvas on one end of the cot.
Position one of the sticks so the holes on the plastic buffers are away from the cot and the holes on the other side of the bar are over the dowel plugs.
Repeat step 5 for the stick on the other side.
