How to Behave During a Limo Ride

Whether you are going to prom, partying with the wedding couple or celebrating a special event, riding in a limousine can be an exciting adventure.  There are many types of limos that you may use including a Hummer, stretch limo, party bus or classic limousine and there is always a proper way to behave during a limo ride.

1. Remember that riding in a limo is a special occasion.  You will want to be on your best behavior during the entire ride.

2. Arrive at the pick-up location at least 10 minutes before the scheduled time.  You want to make sure you are ready to go and have time to take pictures before getting into the limo.

3. Stand next to the limo with other members of your party so pictures can be taken.  This is a special event and everyone may want a picture of the limo.

4. Get into the limo.  This can be difficult if you are wearing a tuxedo or fancy dress.  To get in the limo properly, sit down on the seat first then lift your legs and turn your body into the vehicle.

5. Find a seat in the limo.  There is usually plenty of space in the limo, but you will have to sit close together and duck your head.  If you are one of the first people to get into the limo you will need to move to the front of the vehicle.  The last people in will be seated in the rear of the limo.

6. Talk with people in the limo and take pictures as needed.  There is no reason to yell or scream.  Everyone can usually hear each other inside the vehicle.

7. Use the equipment in the limo during your ride.  If your limo has a bar pour yourself a drink.  If there is a karaoke machine or stereo system turn on the music.  You might even want to watch television just to say you did.

8. Do not walk around or move throughout the limo.  Any major movement should be avoided when the limo is in motion. 

9. Relax and have fun while riding in the limo but be courteous to other riders.  This is a memorable event for everyone.
