How to Behave at Amusement Parks

Visiting an amusement park is a fun experience for adults and children. There is entertainment for all ages such as riding roller coasters, eating junk food, watching animals and meeting great people. If you are planning to visit one, then you should know how to behave at amusement parks to prevent any ejections.

  1. Do not save places in line. Line jumping is not allowed at amusement parks. Some people like to save places in line for their family members which are not permitted by the park. The lines are long unless you have an express pass. It is really unfair to everyone that is spending long hours in the hot sun waiting to get on a ride for someone to cut in front of them. Guests cannot leave the line and return back to the same space. If you exit the line, then you have to go to the end of the line.

  2. Refrain from using abusive language or profanity. Any language offensive to guests is not allowed and could result in being removed from the park without a refund. Symbols and gestures are not allowed as well.  Amusement parks are considered family friendly, and foul language can cause problems.

  3. Wear the proper attire. Many parks have a dress code for safety and health reasons. Wearing proper attire includes wearing t-shirts and the appropriate shoes. Clothing with offensive symbols and messages are not allowed. Only wear a bathing suit when getting on a water ride or in designated areas. Guests can be denied admission when wearing inappropriate clothing.

  4. Get on a ride for your appropriate height and age. Children should only get on rides that meet their age and height requirement. If someone is afraid to get on a ride, then the person shouldn’t be forced to get on it.

  5. Leave outside food in the parking lot. Most theme parks don't allow outside food and will check your bags at the gate. Guests are not even allowed to bring in coolers and water. Food and drinks will have to be purchased at the park. Special arrangements are only made for babies and small children.
