How to Buy Clothes Hangers
In order to have a neat and well-organized closet, the first thing you must do is purchase clothes hangers. There are many different types of hangers, and once you know which type of hanger works best for your clothing you will be able to organize your closet and extend the life of your clothing.
Before going to the store to buy coat hangers you will need to assess your needs. If you have a lot of clothing this could take some time, so it is important to plan accordingly. If you go to the store to buy hangers and do not know exactly what you need you could spend more money than you needed to.
- Figure out what types of clothing you have.
- Make a detailed list of the clothing you want to hang in your closet.
- Determine how many of each type of hanger you need. Heavy clothes such as suits, pants and coats should hang on sturdy, wooden hangers. Blouses and light shirts should hang on rounded hangers so that they are not damaged. Blouses with spaghetti straps should hang on molded hangers or hangers with no-slip grips so that they do not fall off and end up on the bottom of the closet. Skirts should hang from hangers that have clips on them.
