Buying designer furniture at a discount may require some patience in order to find a good price. Many stores offer discounts around the holidays by having special sales. Waiting for a special sale allows buyers to save some money and still buy the upscale furniture they want.

1. Make a list of the furniture pieces you need to buy. Measure the space of the area where you will put the furniture and write down the maximum dimensions on your list. If you can only afford to buy a certain dollar amount of furniture at the present time, prioritize your list by item.

Many stores offer discounts if you print a coupon to present to the salesperson at a local store. Other stores offer discounts if you order designer furniture directly from the website.
