How to Buy Flowers for Men
Buying flowers for men is a little different than purchasing them for women. There are just some flowers you don’t want to see sitting in a man’s office or his home. Depending upon where you are sending the flowers, will determine on the flowers you choose for your man. The thing is, men enjoy receiving flowers just like women.
- Determine why you are buying or sending the flowers. Are you sending flowers for a birthday, promotion, holiday or special moment in his life?
- Select masculine colors. Avoid pink, white, baby blue, purple or any other light colors. Men often enjoy strong bold colors. Look for colors such as green, yellow, red and orange. The darker the flower the better for a man’s taste.
- Choose a non-decorative vase to put the flowers in. A man will not appreciate a decorative vase sitting on their office desk. Stick to a plain clear one if possible. You may make a different choice if the flowers are going directly to your man’s home.
- Select flowers that have a strong masculine scent. You may look for flowers with a musky or earthy smell to them. Most men will love to show these type flowers off at the work place.
- Look for flowers with interesting shapes and designs. You may want to stay away from traditional roses. Men like items that are unique and different. They like things that make them think. They will think you invested a lot of time into choosing the perfect flowers just for them.
- Ask your man what type of flowers he likes. He may be a little reluctant to tell you at first, but if he can tell you are serious, you will most likely get an answer from him. There are some men who may choose not be in touch with their feminine side.
