How to Buy Used Golf Carts on eBay

Auction websites such as eBay which allow you to compete with other buyers to purchase a product that you want. These products can be new or used. If you are looking for a good deal on a used golf cart, eBay could be the answer.

1. Create an eBay account. If you don't already have an eBay account, you will need one in order to purchase a used golf cart. You should also open a PayPal account if you don't already have one. PayPal is a safe easy way to pay for your eBay items and is also owned by eBay. Both eBay and PayPal accounts are free. In order to create an account for each, go to the website's homepage and click the "sign up" button. Complete the necessary steps involved in the sign up process.

2. Go to eBay and do a search for "golf carts." Many auctions should come up and many of them will be of no use to you. For example, you are looking for a used golf cart, but your search results may come back with golf cart parts, new golf carts or toy golf carts. In order to narrow your auction results down, look at the options available on the left side column on your screen.

3. Click on any of the options that apply. In this case because you are trying to find a used golf cart, you will want to select “used.” If you know what brand and model, or maybe even the year you want, you can select these options as well. The more you can narrow down your auction results, the easier it will be to find what you are looking for.

4. Find a used golf cart that you like and may want to purchase. Once you have the used golf cart you like, check the feedback of the seller. Make sure plenty of others have been satisfied with their purchases from the seller. This will help you determine whether the seller is trustworthy or not. This is especially important when buying something expensive like a used golf cart.

5. Bid on the auction or choose the “buy it now” option if it is available for the particular auction. If you are bidding, make sure you are outbidding other bidders, without paying more the the used golf cart is worth. Once you have won the auction, pay for the golf cart using PayPal or whatever other method you choose that is allowed.
