How to Buy Used Textbooks for Automotive School
Many automotive schools have a list of books that you are required to purchase for your classes. These books can be very expensive if purchased new. Fortunately, there are a variety of used books store that sell used automotive books and a discounted price.
- Obtain a list of required booked from your automotive school. This list can usually be retrieved from the student service office.
- Use your favorite search engine to find an used textbook store. There are various stores and each one offers various prices. You may want to shop around to find the best deals.
- Search for the books your need. You can search by typing in the ISBN number, the author's name or the book's title. Some books may have the same title, but be different. It is best to match the books by ISBN number to make sure you are buying the correct book.
- Once you have found the books you want to purchase, click on the "Add to Cart" button. Continue to search for the books on your list and add them to your shopping card until you have found all the books you need or that are available.
- Click on the shopping cart icon to be taken to a page that displays all of the books you want to purchase. Click on the "Proceed to Checkout" button.
- Enter your payment information including your credit card number, expiration date, security code and billing address. Enter your shipping address and contact information as well. Continue through the checkout process until you receive a receipt. Print our your receipt to keep for you records. Wait for your textbooks to arrive in the mail.
