- The window will change and new options will appear. At the bottom of the window will be a button that says "Customize Desktop." Single click this button.
- A new window will appear called "Desktop Items." Several icons will appear in this window. Choose the icon that you would like to change and click the button immediately underneath that says "Change Icon."
- Another new window will appear. This window simply say "Change Icon." There will be several icons for you to choose from. Most Windows XP computers will have at least thirty different icons to choose from. Choose the one that you like the best and press "OK."
