How to Clean ComfortPlus Window Glass

ComfortPlus windows are made with laminated glass. They are designed to reduce the amount you pay for your utilities. The window also keeps harmful ultraviolet rays from getting inside while allowing enough light inside. These types of windows are known to last a long time. They can be easily maintained using household items.

How to Clean ComfortPlus Window Glass

Materials Needed

• Bucket


• White distilled vinegar


• Warm water


• Rubber gloves


• Funnel


• Spray bottle


• Acetone


• Clean cloth


• Newspaper

1. Fill a bucket with 1 cup of white distilled vinegar. Add 10 cups of warm water to the bucket and mix the solution with a spoon.


2. Put on rubber gloves to protect your hands during the cleaning process.


3. Funnel the solution in the bucket into a spray bottle.


4. Apply acetone to a clean cloth and apply it to the window for tough stains.  Scrub the stains and dry the area with another clean cloth.


5. Spray the window with the solution in the spray bottle.


6. Go over the windows using newspaper. Use side-to-side motions as you wipe the window.


7. Use more dry newspaper to go over the window to dry it. The newspaper will not leave any stains or streaks on the window.
