How to Clean Home Security Screen Doors

Security screen doors are designed for just about any house, and come in various sizes. They also allow homeowners to be protected while allowing natural lighting into the home. Although security screen doors can protect the home from various things, it needs protection from dirt and grime.

To keep your security screen door looking brand new, it is necessary to clean the door at least one time every couple of months.

Items needed:

• All purpose cleaner




• Bucket




• Glass cleaner




• Rags




• Paper towels

Step 1:

Fill the bucket half way with warm water, and then add a cup of the all-purpose cleaner to the water.

Step 2:

Take a rag and begin cleaning the screen of the security door. Repeat until all of the dirt and grime is removed.

Step 3:

With a clean rag, use the same water and cleaner that is in the bucket and clean the outer part of the door.

Step 4:

To clean the glass on the security door, take the glass cleaner and spray it on that section and wipe down with a paper towel as you would any other type of glass.

Remember to clean the security door a few times a year.
