If you travel frequently, your suitcase could use cleaning and refreshing before your next trip. Luggage is often overlooked when it comes to cleaning until it is completely dirty. Over time, a musty smell can accumulate on the inside. This article will instruct you on how to clean luggage.

Take everything out of the luggage and remove any tags.
Use a dry brush to brush the surface and the inside to loosen any dirt.
Vacuum the inside of the luggage with a handheld vacuum. Make sure you get inside the pockets.
Wipe off the surface with a cloth and mild soap. Use circular motions as you clean the exterior. Make sure the cloth is damp and not soaking wet.
Wet a clean cloth and clean away any remaining soap.
Spray the interior of the luggage with an air freshener.
Leave the top open until the luggage is completely dry.
