1. Use a clay-based cat liter or sawdust to cover the oil stain. Allow the sawdust or cat littler to sit for one day or more.

2. Store the oil-soaked cat littler or sawdust in plastics bags and dispose of them.




3. Pour 1/2 cup of laundry detergent on the oil stain and allow it to sit for five minutes.




4. Scrub the area with a scrub brush. Apply water and scrub the area again. Allow the mixture to sit on the stain overnight.




5. Rinse the area thoroughly and allow the area to dry.
