How to Clean a Concrete Patio
Spring-cleaning should not be limited to the inside of a house. The outside of the house should also be cleaned on a regular basis. Special attention should be given to the patio if you plan on entertaining outside. There is nothing hard about cleaning a concrete patio.
How to Clean a Concrete Patio
Dip a broom in a bucket filled with a mixture of warm water and washing soda, and scrub the patio thoroughly. Washing soda is a nontoxic powerful cleaner that can easily cut through grease and stains.
Once the patio is free of dirt and stains, use a garden hose to rinse away the soap.
Use oven cleaner to remove any remaining stains. Spray it directly on the stains and allow it to sit for approximately 4 hours before rinsing off with the hose.
Use laundry stain remover on stubborn stains and allow it to sit for approximately 5 minutes before rising off.
Spread cat liter on oil based stains. Use a hard object to grind the liter into the stain. Allow it to sit for several minutes to absorb the oil. Sweep it up and rinse the area with the water hose.
