How to Cover Chairs With Plastic Sheeting
Cut the sheet of plastic so there is more than enough to cover the chair. You will be able to trim it to fit later.
Place the chair in an area that is large enough to work in.
Spread the plastic sheeting on the floor.
Turn the chair upside down and place it on top of the plastic sheeting. Make sure the cushion is removed.
Lift the sheeting so that it is flat against the seat of the chair. Bring the extra sheeting over the sides of the chair so it covers the bottom of the chair.
Trim the sheeting to make sure there is enough to cover the area beneath the chair.
Staple the plastic to the bottom of the chair with an upholstery stapler.
Turn the chair over and smooth the sheeting. Make sure that the plastic follows the shape of the chair.
Cut any extra plastic from the chair.
