How to Create Wedding Music and Programs

Creating your own wedding music and programs helps to make your special day even more personal. By creating the wedding music and programs for such a big day, you have the opportunity to add your very own special touch and incorporate everything you like.

  • Decide what type of design you would like to use for your wedding program. You may want to mach the color and design with your wedding theme. For example, if your wedding colors are red and white, you may want the program to represent these colors.

  • Figure out what type of information you would like to be listed on your wedding programs. Information that is usually on wedding programs includes the names of the bride and groom, the date of their marriage, and the different types of songs that will be featured. You can add other information on your wedding program as you please.

  • Give thanks to your wedding guests on your program. This will show the guests that you appreciate their presence on such a special and meaningful day.

  • Use a special type of paper to print your programs out on. Using special paper gives a much more tasteful look than just using regular white printer paper.

  • Add a photograph of the bride and groom to the wedding program for special effects.

  • Decide what type of music or songs you would like to be played at the wedding. You may have a favorite song that you want played or you may have composed your very own song. It is your decision to make as to when each song will be played throughout the wedding.

  • Hire musicians to play at the wedding if need be. You may need a pianist or you may be interested in hiring a local band. Give the musicians an idea of what types of wedding music you want played on your special day.
