Think about the items you are going to store in the closet. What will be the best way to fit the items into the closet? An example is a linen closet.
With a measuring tape measure the width of the closet to see how many organizers you will need. The organizers come in all shapes, sizes and combinations.
Select what type of organizer you will need. Shelves or drawers or a combination of both. For a linen closet you could use shelves and drawer type organizers. The shelves could be used for larger items such as: quilts, comforters and blankets.
With the measuring tape measure the depth of the closet. If you select the drawer type organizers make sure there is enough room to open the drawers. The drawers can be used to store sheets and pillow cases.
Baskets can also be used for items that are not used as often. Select baskets with lids so they can be stacked. These can be labeled on the outside for easy identification. The baskets can be used to store holiday items such as: tablecloths, placemats and napkins.
