How to Design a Fairy Garden

How to Create a Fairy Garden

A fairy garden is created using flowers and herbs, and is a place for a fairy to live. Once you decide on what types of flowers and herbs you want in your fairy garden, you will have it created in a few short steps. With some time and patience, you will have a beautiful fairy garden where fairies will be happy to live.

  1. Make a design for your fairy garden on paper before you start planting. Decide on what types of flowers and herbs you want to put in the garden. Create fairy circles in the garden using mushrooms, which are fairy portals. Add other elements to the fairy garden, such as tiny furniture for the fairies.

  2. Select the location where you want the fairy garden. It should be under a tree or bush, and out of the way. A fairy garden is small and only a few square feet. Make sure it gets at least partial sun. You can also put the fairy garden in a large planter, if you do not have a good location to put it. Place the planter under a tree or bush when you are finished.

  3. Include faux plants in the fairy garden, along with live flowers and herbs. The faux plants will live forever while you wait for the flowers to grow in the fairy garden. Plant the seeds according the directions on the package, and make sure you water them well. Place the plants as you designed the garden on paper.

  4. Put other elements in the fairy garden. Place tiny furniture and other decorations for the fairies to use.
