How to Customize Fight Gear
Fight gear is important for training and for when you actually fight. You wear the gear a lot and you may want to customize it to fit you better and also as a form of expression. Customizing your gear can consist or simply resizing it or adding logos to it.
Do not be afraid to resize your gear. Gear that does not fit properly can interfere with your ability to fight. Trunks can be resized. Knee pads can be trimmed if these are too large for you. The same thing can be done with elbow pads. Knee pads and elbow pads that are too large can interfere with your movement and must be customized.
Create custom logos or sayings for your gear. Using logos or sayings that already exist is also an option. Take your gear to a place that can place the logo or saying on your gear. In most cases, this will be a print shop.
Dye your fight gear a different color if you wish. Buy dye at a fabric store and follow the instructions. Be sure to use the same dye if you want the colors to match. For instance, if you are dying your knee pads, make sure you buy enough dye for both knee pads so that these match.
Stitching your nickname somewhere on your fighting gear is a great way to customize your fighting gear. Fighters often have nicknames and stitching them on the front of your trunks or on your gloves is a nice way to express yourself.
