The Olympics are the biggest sporting event in the world. It is the largest worldwide collection of professional athletes participating in their respective sports. Customizing your own sports shoes with Olympic designs or decorations is one way of supporting your country or your favorite sport.
- Select the brand of shoe that you want to have customized. Brands like Nike, Converse, Adidas, Reebok and Puma will allow you to customize your own shoe. Log onto their website and select the tab that allows you to customize your own shoes.
- Select the type of shoe that you want to customize with your Olympic theme. There are several different styles of shoes that you can customize so be sure that you choose the one that is going to be appropriate for the sport that you plan on participating in. Something else to consider is the level of comfort that each shoe provides. For instance, the Converse All- Star are a great shoe for basketball, however, they do not have any arch support for your feet.
- Choose the colors that you feel best represents the country or the sport that you wish to represent. For instance, if you are representing Germany, their flag colors are red white and black.
- Select which part of the shoe will be which color. For example, Adidas shoes feature three stripes that can be one color while another portion of the shoe can be a different color.
- Choose any decals that you want added to your shoes. These can be the Olympic rings, specific symbolism for countries or sports.
