How to Customize a Baseball Uniform Design

A baseball uniform is meant to make a player look as they are a part of a team. While coaches and managers will want all their players in the same uniform, there are simple ways to ensure that your baseball uniform has a unique design. This will allow you to stand out on the field, while still showing your team pride.

  1. Add your last name to the back of
the jersey. Many jerseys come without anything but a number on the
back. Other teams may put the team name on the back. By putting
your name on the back people can cheer for you when you're up to
bat. Adding your name to the back of the jersey is quite simple, as
you can purchase iron-on letter decals from crafts stores.

  2. Place your number on the sleeve of
your jersey. Sleeves on baseball jerseys are often empty, and are a
perfect spot to add customization. Once again, iron-on number decals
can be bought at any crafts stores.

  3. Sew or iron decals to the sleeve
of your shirt. If you have won a championship or tournament, the
jersey sleeve is a great place to display it.

  4. Wear a shirt under the baseball
jersey. Wearing a long- or short-sleeved shirt under your baseball
jersey is a great way to customize a uniform. Coordinating the color
with the team's color is best, otherwise an umpire may ask you to
remove the shirt so it isn't a distraction to other players.

  5. Wear your stirrups higher or lower
than other players. You can choose to show the stirrups have the pant bottom touch cleat or, you can have the stirrups end just
below the knee. Ending below the knee will show more of the stirrup.
