How to Decorate a Sweets Table for a Wedding

If you are getting married and looking for some unique ideas for your reception you should consider setting up a sweets table. You can decorate the table so that it matches the theme of your wedding. It would definitely be something that will impress your guest because many of them probably have never seen a sweets table before.

How to Decorate a Sweets Table for a Wedding

1. Select the place in the reception room where you would like the sweets table to be located.


2. Gather all the materials you will need to set up the table such as table clothes, candy containers, scoops, lights and any other type of decorations you have chosen.


3. Cover the table with a tablecloth of your choice.


4. Lay a table runner down in the center of your table. It should be in one of your wedding colors or something that will complement the colors you are using for your wedding.


5. Place some vases of flowers and scatter flower petals on the table.


6. Place a string of twinkle lights around the edges of the table.


7. Arrange some empty containers and decorative bowls on the table. Make sure you put the larger containers in the back.


8. Fill the containers and bowls with the sweets of your choice.


9. Place scoops in the center of the table. You can decorate the scoops by tying a ribbon around the handles.
