How to Market Your Dentistry Website

How to Design a Dentistry Website

Establishing a patient base at a dental office can often be challenging. Getting the word out about your new practice can be difficult to achieve, especially if existing practices surround your area. One way to increase publicity for your office is to advertise online via a website.  Designing a dentistry website can be easy to do if you know the proper information to include.

  • Make your website easy to navigate, read and follow. Because it is the first thing that potential clients will see regarding your services, it is important that you make a good impression.  f it is confusing, potential clients may get fed up and go elsewhere. Include a homepage including several links with information about your practice.

  • Discuss the services you offer at your office. Patients often need specialized care or have special needs. If your practice has a unique offering, put it on your website. Be sure to also explain any complicated procedures so that patients can become more comfortable with what is going to happen at their appointment.

  • Incorporate an “about us” page on your website. It is important that you tell clients a little about yourselves. Include schooling, experience, family and hobbies so that patients will feel more comfortable with you.

  • Include a link with information on the location, hours, and directions to your practice. This will help new patients see if your practice is a good fit for them. Also, having this feature can alleviate phone calls asking how late you are open or inquiries for directions.

  • Post a schedule of available appointments for the upcoming weeks. Many people lead busy lives and choose their dentist based on when they can squeeze in an appointment. Having a schedule posted will help patients find a good time to come in and will also reduce some phone calls to your receptionist about when a patient can be squeezed in.

  • Create a contact page with your office phone number, emergency phone number, mailing address and email. It is important that new and existing patients have several methods to reach you.
