How to Design a Pet Sitter Flyer
When you begin to offer pet sitting services the key to your success is not only how well you perform these services but how well you advertise your services. Possibly the least expensive method of advertising your services is to create flyers.
- Begin with the name of your business. Select a font on your word processing software that best suits your business name and select an appropriate color. If you plan to order copies from a printing service, consider black as the selected color for your font as it is less expensive to print in black and white.
- Select clip art that best represents the pets for which you wish to include in your pet sitting services. If you wish to sit for only dogs and cats then consider including cute photos of dogs and cats only. Center this clip art within your flyer.
- Begin listing your prices for pet sitting services. For instance, include the price per day based on the size of the pet and owner's requirements. As you know when pet sitting you are responsible for caring for this animal for a specific amount of time. During this time, you are responsible for feeding and watering this pet. Some owners however request additional services such as daily grooming and walking. You should include any additional service not covered in your basic rates within this flyer.
- Add your name and phone number to this flyer. Some individuals print her or his name with their phone number along the bottom of flyers. By doing this you could create pull tabs at the bottom of your flyers for customers to remove from the flyer.
- Print an adequate supply of these flyers and place them within high traffic areas such as grocery stores and gas stations.
