How to Design a Soccer Uniform

In soccer, a uniform is one of the most important aspects. When you are designing this type of uniform, you need to be aware of the regulations and you should consult with the leaders of the team. Try to talk to the players on the team to see if they would like anything special.

  1. Select the primary colors that you will be using for this uniform. If you are designing soccer uniforms to be used for the school, you should probably use the colors that are associated with the school. If the team is not a school team, meet with the coach and the players to figure out what they would like the colors to be. If you are designing uniforms for a younger group of kids, bright colors would be the best way to go.

  2. Select the design that you would like to use on the shorts. The shorts can have stripes or solid colors. The colors should go well together. Make certain that the colors that you select do not clash.

  3. Select the material that you are going to be using for these uniforms. The material should be cool and light weight.

  4. When you are designing the shirt, make sure you leave a large space on the back of the shirt for the numbers of the players. Use the lighter color for the number and the darker number for the color of the shirt.

  5. Write the team's name across the chest on the shirt. If you would like, add a picture of the team's mascot above the team's name. You could also put the player's number on the front of the shirt.

  6. Have the players wear different accessories to complement the uniform. These accessories could include sweat bands, knee socks and head bands. Make sure that the colors match the uniform if you decide to add accessories to the uniform.
