How to Enjoy a Psychic Reading When You Feel It's a Scam

How to Do a Psychic Reading

Learning to be a psychic reader can be as simple as letting yourself see into other's lives and reading their futures using only your mind and your hands. Try reading your family and close friend's futures and read the type of person they are to get practice and then move onto clients outside your circle of friends.

  • Set the scene. Find a comfortable spot to sit and perform the psychic reading with a client. Light musky incense or candles, sit on cozy pillows and have a small table in front of you covered with a table cloth. It is best to have a calm, quiet room but you can have soft background music if it helps you perform the reading. Keep the lights off if you have candles or dim if you are using incenses. Ask your client if he or she is comfortable and make them feel at ease.

  • Take your client's hands and hold them in yours. Ask to have a moment of silence. Try to feel what they are feeling and look deep into their soul or being. Look for your client's greater purpose in this life and attempt to read how may past lives they have lived and what is in their future. Closing your eyes may help to better see into your client's soul.

  • Ask your client if they have specific questions for you. If they do, have them ask one question at a time. Repeat the question and then take a moment to read into their being and find the answer to their question. When you feel like you have the answer, let your client know and then move on to the next question. If your client doesn't have specific questions, tell them what you saw when you read into their soul and what is in store for them in the future.

  • When you are finished with the reading, close with another moment of silence. Wait about a minute, release your clients hands, stand and nod to let them know you are finished.
