How to Download YouTube Songs Onto iTunes

Putting songs from YouTube onto your itunes is not as difficult as you might think.  YouTube songs are saved in video and audio form.  The video has to be stripped and audio saved.  There is a free program online that will help with this process. 

1. Go to YouTube.com. Find the video you want to convert to itunes.  The file can be anything from music to a college classroom lecture.  When you have found what you want, click on the address bar.  Select "Ctrl + C" to copy the URL address.


2. Type www.flvtomp3.com into the web browser. At the top of the page, make sure the button next to the words "by url" are selected.


3. Paste the website address that was copied in step 1 into the text box.  To paste, use "Ctrl + V" or highlight the text and right click on it then chose "paste".  Click OK at the bottom of the page next to "I accept the terms".


4. Wait while the page opens and starts to load.  The status bar at the top of the page will keep track of the status.  When the status bar says "status complete" click on the "convert" button at the bottom of the page.


5. Wait for the window to open.  It will ask you what you want to do with the downloaded file.  Click the circle next to the words "open file".  A drop down box will be in the window.  Select iTunes from the drop down box.  Click "OK".  The iTunes program will open and the songs will start to play.  Enjoy your music.
