- Draw the outline of the pickup truck. Begin drawing a long rectangle for the body of the driver's side of the truck. Draw two overlapping circles on the right and left ends of rectangle for the wheels. One the top left half of the body form a cab using a smaller rectangle, but with the left side slanted.
- Draw the wheels and bumpers of your truck. Inside of each wheel draw a small circle that is inside of a larger circle for each tire. Draw a wheel well above each tire by sketching an object that looks like an upside-down bowl. To create the front bumper, attach a U-shaped figure to the front wheel well. For the rear bumper connect a backward L-shaped figure with a cuplike bumper attached. On the front hood outline it with a curved line.
- Draw the windows and hubcaps. Form the driver's side window by sketching a rectangle with a slanted left side. Create the side view mirror by drawing and odd-shaped oval towards the bottom of the window. Make the door handle by attaching two thin rectangles one on top of another. Form the windshield by drawing a straight line that is slanted on the front driver's side window. Add a very short line at the top and bottom of the windshield to finish the windshield. Make the hub caps by adding five half circles inside each wheel.
- Add the doors and other detail. Create the headlights by using the front end of the truck to form two connected squares. Outline the headlines with an extra thin rectangle shape. To create the finder, place a curved line above each wheel. To form the door, draw a rectangle that has a curved left side and not top. Separate the cable from the cargo bed by adding an upright straight line behind the door. Draw an L-shaped figure to form the taillight.
