- Draw the neck and spine with somewhat bent vertical lines. The spine should be penciled out of the bottom midpoint of the chest. Draw shoulders with little circles on the higher right and left area of the chest. Connect a transverse line to each shoulder. Make the elbows with tiny circles. Let the forearms have angled lines that face the back towards the body. Ovals can be used for the hands.
- Make legs that with two slanting lines together coming from the bottom of the hips. Angle these lines in the direction of each other. Put small circles as the knees. Design the lower legs with a vertical line coming from the knees. Draw a cross shape diagonal on the woman's face. Create a small horizontal line between the lower part of the face and the mouth. Make a horizontal line for the nose.
- Depict a "U" shape beginning at the shoulders and moving down to the mid of the chest. It will make the dress neckline. Attach a square to the bottom of the hips to fashion the lower part of the dress. Join the chest to the hips with a slanted line. Stiffen the limbs with matching lines around the arm and leg. Stiffen the neck with two matching lines around the neck and linking to the upper part of the chest.
- Sketch the eyes with little ovals on the face. Make the eyebrows with a curved line. Insert the nose; make it have a "c" shape. Include a lower lip with a bent line under the mouth. Fashion the hair with an upside down "U" form. Pencil the curve of the breasts with a little partial loop.
- Unattached the fingers on the left-hand, use three slanted lines. Do the same with the right-hand. Insert a thumb above the fingers with a small rectangle look. Include, the visible finger with a opposite "L" form.
