How to Dye Your Eyebrows

When some women dye their hair a different color they also dye their eyebrows. Your hair and eyebrows should be the same color to ensure that they complement each other. You do not need to pay a professional at a hair salon because it is not difficult to dye your eyebrows, but it must be done very carefully.

How to Dye Your Eyebrows

  1. Remove any makeup residue or oil from your eyebrows. Oily deposits may have a negative affect on the dye.

  2. Choose the color of dye you want to use. If your hair is a dark color, your eyebrows should be dark or one step lighter. If you have blond hair, do not go too dark because when your roots start to grow in they will be really noticeable.

  3. Prepare the dye solution right before your use it. Mix the dye and the developer at a one-to-one ratio to create a thick paste.

  4. Use a Q-tip to apply the dye to the eyebrow hairs.

  5. Allow the dye to set for approximately 3 minutes.

  6. Use a dry cotton pad to remove the dye.

  7. If the color is not as dark as you want, reapply the dye for 3 more minutes.

  8. Use a dry cotton pad to remove the dye.

  9. If you have reached the desired color, use a dry cotton pad soaked lightly with dye stain remover to stop the dying process.
