Check all references and ensure that the company or individual has been in business for a while. Family and friends can often point you in the right direction when searching for a plumber.

Yellow pages - The yellow pages will contain a listing for all of the local plumbers in your area. Turn to the section labeled "Plumbers" towards the back of the phone book to locate a list of plumbers and their addresses and phone numbers. If you are unsure if they perform the work in which you need done, call and ask them any questions. Check to be sure that they are licensed and insured as well.

Ask them if they know of a qualified plumber that you could use. Oftentimes they will be the only resource you need in finding a good plumber for your bathroom. You will already have firsthand knowledge of their work and a personal reference which will help to make the decision an easy one for you. 

craigslist - craigslist is a free online classifieds section that has grown in popularity over the years. Many plumbers list their services on craigslist as a marketing strategy to find new customers. You will need to be sure when you are searching the "Services Offered" section on craigslist that you choose a plumber that is a professional. Always ask for references and experience when looking to hire a plumber.

Internet - You can also use your preferred search engine to find a local plumber in your area for your bathroom plumbing needs. Simply use the keyword "plumber" and the name of the city in which you live. This should pull up a list of all of the plumbers available in that city as well as the surrounding areas.
