How to Find a Maid Service

When you need help with cleaning your home or office, you might want to know how to find a maid service. Depending upon your needs, you can choose a maid service that offers household cleaning services or commercial cleaning services.

Look in the phone book. To find a maid service, check the yellow pages of your local telephone book. Compare the ads for price, services offered and their hours of operation. You might find listings under a number of different yellow page headings. Try looking under "maid services," "housecleaning" and "cleaning services." After compiling a list of maid services, call the contact information for further details, including if you will need to sign a contract, or if you can pay "as you go."

Get recommendations. When you are in the market to find a maid service, ask your family and friends, as well as co-workers for recommendations. They may already be utilizing a maid service, and if they are happy with their services that the maid service provides, consider finding out more. If you feel comfortable asking, inquire how much money the service charges per hour and if they use their own cleaning supplies.

Search online. To find a maid service, take your search to the Internet. If you are interested in franchise maid service, search the company name and then look for consumer reviews. By reading reviews of maid service, you'll get to know which ones are favored by consumers and ones less popular.
