How to Find a Private RV Rental
You have decided to rent an RV for vacation or cross country travel. You don’t really want to go through a company to rent an RV because there is so much paperwork and legalities. You’d rather rent a private RV. It is important that you research this process before making final decisions. Here is how to find a private RV rental.
Talk with family, friends and co-workers. It is likely that someone in your social arena knows someone with an RV, who may be willing to privately rent it to you. By talking with others, you may not find the perfect RV to rent, but you may learn what to ask and who to avoid.
If you cannot find a private rental through your connections, log onto MerchantCircle and look for a reputable RV service in your area. MerchantCircle will provide you with contact information and give you access to other customer reviews. Contact the RV services and ask for referrals for private RV rentals.
You can also use a reputable search engine such as Google, Yahoo or Ask to search for a private RV rental.
There are other websites that can help you find an individual for a private RV rental. These sites include Craigslist, Angie’s List and eBay Classifieds.
