How to Fit Exercise Into Your Busy Schedule
Most people have busy schedules but still wish to exercise. Exercise can be incorporated into your schedule by adding a routine in the morning or right after you get home from work. Also, exercise can be done while spending time with your kids, by adding physical activity to play time.
- Exercise in the morning before you get ready for work or start your day. This is a good time for physical activity, as you will already feel rested and be able to perform your exercise routine. Try setting an alarm clock 30 minutes early to fit exercise in with the things you normally do in the morning.
- Set up a time to exercise as soon as you get out of work. This is a good way to fit in exercise, as you will be active as soon as you get home and motivated to continue moving. This prevents having to get up during your down time to perform your routine.
- Exercise with your kids during the day making a fun activity out of it. Consider an exercise routine that will be fun for everyone and easy to follow for you and your kids. Try dancing, hopping, or playing an aerobics video that everyone can watch. This is a great way to fit exercise into your day and spend quality time with your kids simultaneously.
- Consider exercising during your commute if you live close to where your work. This can be done by walking, running, or riding your bike to the office. This is a good way to add exercise into your day, as you will be energized when you get to work.
