How to Get Bad Credit Cash Loans

Job loss, large medical bills, moving expenses and other setbacks leave many hardworking Americans with bad credit scores. Calls from credit collectors, notices served by the sheriff’s office, mortgage foreclosures and other emergencies often require additional funds before payday. Several options are available for cash loans even with a low credit score.

Items Needed:

  • Phone

  • Computer

  • Home or Automobile is required for some loans

  • Job or other source of income

  • Paper

  • Pen

  1. Consider a bad credit home loan, if there is sufficient equity in the home. This type of loan may be in the form of a second mortgage or debt consolidation loan. The interest rate will be much lower on this type of loan; however, be aware the home is collateral. If this is not an option, skip to step four.

  2. Research bad credit home loan companies, companies offering second mortgages and debt consolidation loans for the lowest interest rate. Remember to inquire about additional fees that may be included with the loan. Write down the name of five companies with the lowest interest and other fees along with a phone number and other pertinent information.

  3. Complete a loan application online, over the phone or in person if this is the loan of choice, starting with the company with the lowest rates first. If turned down by a company, remember there are at least four more companies listed on the paper, so apply with the next company.

  4. Consider a bad credit automobile loan, if the automobile is owned with a free-and-clear title. The interest rate on this loan will be high, but it is still slightly less than payday advance loans, because the loan is backed by the value of the automobile. If this is not an option, skip to step seven.

  5. Type in “bad credit cash loans with automobiles for collateral” in a search engine. Locate the companies offering the lowest interest rate in the area, and write the names of the top five companies on a piece of paper, along with phone numbers and loan details. Call the companies, and ask if additional fees are added.

  6. Fill out a loan application online, over the phone or in person after choosing a loan company.

  7. Research payday loans on the Internet, if there is a job or regular source of income. These loans generally have the highest interest rate, so it is important to locate the lowest possible rate. Sometimes additional fees are added onto the loan. Make a list of the five companies with the lowest fees on a piece of paper, phone numbers, and details.

  8. Choose a company and complete paperwork online, over the phone or in person after choosing the loan company.
