How to Hold an Easter Brunch
Holding an Easter brunch is a fun way to spend time with friends and family. Many people have activities for kids at the brunch, including a traditional Easter egg hunt. To hold a successful brunch, the host should prepare well in advance so the occasion is fun and not stressful.
- Make a list of everyone you want to invite to your Easter brunch. Buy some invitations to send to your guests, or create your own using a computer. Mail the invitations a month in advance, to give everyone enough time to RSVP. Keep track of how many people respond so you will know how much food to prepare for the brunch.
- Check the number of seats that you have available for the guests. Review the RSVPs to see how many seats you need. Borrow some chairs from friends or relatives if you do not have enough to seat all of the guests.
- Buy some Easter decorations for the brunch. Search online to get some decorating ideas, or stop by a party supply shop. Buy the decorations from the shop, or check an online retailer if you have enough time to receive the order before the day of the brunch.
- Decide whether to cook the meals for the brunch yourself or to hire a caterer. If you are going to do all of the cooking, make sure that you know how many people are coming so you buy enough food. Shop for the food a few days before the brunch so you do not have any unnecessary stress. Make sure that you have enough plates, cups and silverware for everyone that is on the guest list.
- Prepare as much of the food as you can before the day of the Easter brunch. Refrigerate the food until the time that the brunch starts. Cook the food that you want to serve and have everyone help themselves so you can relax and enjoy the brunch.
