- Measure your cabinet dimensions from side to side. Use a pencil to mark the center to know where to install the shelf. Mark the center point of the platform with a pencil by measuring the platform from the kit.
- Line up the pencil marks in the center. Reveal the support tracks underneath the platform by extending it from your cabinet.
- Secure your cabinet's platform with clamps. Use a screwdriver and screws to screw the platform on the sides of the cabinet.
- Use your miter saw to cut the shelf wood. Follow along the exact cabinet measurements that you have from Step 1. Subtract one inch from these measurements to allow you enough space to freely control the movement of the sliding shelves.
- Sand the edges of the shelf using sandpaper. Smooth edges will make it easier for you to slide the cabinet shelf in and out of your cabinet.
- Use your tape measure and a pencil to mark the dimensions of the shelf at its center. Accurately place the shelf inside you cabinet by aligning the center marks.
- Screw the shelf securely to your cabinet's platform. Screw from the bottom first and then work your way up toward the top. To make sure the shelf it accurately attached, fully extend the platform.
