How to Join an Automobile Association
As a member of an automobile association you have access to several benefits. Like other auto clubs you receive roadside assistance, towing and tire repair. However with a membership to these associations you also receive discounts on travel, insurance and rental car services.
- Go to the website for the automobile association of your choice. If you are not sure which automobile association to join, perform a web search for automobile association by typing "automobile associations" into your preferred search engine and hit ENTER. Read through the information pertaining to each automobile association to determine which is right for you.
- Click "Join" or "Join Now" located on the main screen of the automobile association of your choice. A new screen will appear with information pertaining to membership benefits and fees.
- Review the benefits offered by the automobile association of your choice. Read through the options for membership and fees.
- Complete the online application for membership and select the type of membership you prefer. Select "Continue" or "Next" to continue to the next page. This information includes basic personal and contact information such as your name, address and email address.
- Select a payment method. Select your credit or debit card type. Enter your credit or debit card account number and expiration date. Enter the three-digit security code found on the back of your credit or debit card. Click "Place Order." A confirmation page will load. Print this page for your records. You will receive your membership documentation by mail within five to 10 business days.
