How to Learn Computer Programming Languages
Computer programming is a field you can go into if you have great problem solving skills and enjoy working with computers. This can be a very rewarding career and can pay very well. You can learn computer programming languages by attending college classes or through self-study.
- Find a college in your area that offers computer programming language courses. There are many different languages you can take, the most popular being C++ and Python. Think about if you want to get your degree or if you only want to learn the programming languages.
- Go to the library and look for books on programming languages. If you are great at self-study and already have a basic understanding of computer programming, you can teach the computer programming languages to yourself. If you have no experience at all, however, it may be harder for you to self-study and may be better taking a course first.
- Go to the bookstore and purchase books on the computer programming language you want to learn. Decide before you go what language you are interested in learning. If they do not have the books in stock, they will be able to order them for you or you can order them online.
- Ask a computer programmer if he can help you learn the programming languages. If you are good friends with any programmers that currently work in the field, they may offer their services to teach you the languages. You may have to pay someone to do this, as it would be a lot of work to teach someone.
