Odor Free Solution

Abandon the odors on your carpeting by using this odor free homemade solution. Make your own carpet cleaner and eliminate the odor on your carpet.

1. Acquire a carpet cleaner and add one cup OxiClean, one cup Febreze or white vinegar.


2. Mix ingredients with hot water and place in carpet cleaner.

 Ammonia Cleaner

1. Acquire a carpet cleaner from any local grocery or hardware store.


2. Place the carpet soap with ammonia using the same amount called for by the machine.


3. Add hot water to the ammonia and mix well.


4. Place the mixture into the machine, turn on the machine and clean the carpet. The smell of the ammonia will subside when the carpet has dried.

 Laundry Soap Solution

1. Mix one-half cup of dish soap with one cup of water and mix well. This solution can be used with a carpet cleaning machine or it can be done by hand. Hard to remove stains can be difficult to remove; this solution can help.


2. Place a towel into the mixture and place onto the stain. Apply gentle pressure onto the carpet. When the carpet is clean, place the towel in fresh water and blot the carpet dry with a dry towel.


3. Check the carpet after one hour and repeat the above steps if necessary.
