When you receive a gift from someone, or they just do something nice for you, you should send them a thank you card expressing your appreciation. You can make your own thank you note cards free with templates you can find online, and when finished you can insert the note cards into an envelope.
- Navigate to a site that offers free thank you card templates. You can search for these sites using your favorite search engine, such as Google or Bing. Search for "free thank you card templates." One such site is HomeLifeWeekly. On this site, they list the templates, along with a download link. You simply click the download link for the image you like to download the template to your computer. You can then use the template for your note card.
- Type the content in the thank you card template that you downloaded. A simple thank you, along with a note that you appreciate their kindness is fine. You should mention the gift they gave you or what they did for you specifically.
- Select a study paper to print the thank you card on. Do not use regular paper, as it will be too flimsy and will not seem like a real thank you card.
- Purchase envelopes to insert the thank you card into. Make sure you purchase the right size. You can also make your own envelopes if you wish. Print the first thank you card on regular paper as a test. If you are satisfied with it, print it out on the stock paper.
