How to Make Organic Garden Pesticide

If you do not like the idea of using a chemical in your garden, you should consider creating your own organic pesticide. It does not harm your plants like toxic chemicals do. Creating them also helps protect the environment, which traditional pesticides cannot do. Organic pesticide can be easily created at home to make it easier on your budget. The recipe is quick and simple.

Materials Needed:

• ½ teaspoon liquid dish detergent


• 1 cup vegetable oil


• 2 liter bottle with a lid


• 1 liter tap water
  
  

Instructions:

1. Mix ½ teaspoon liquid dish detergent and 1 cup vegetable oil into a 2 liter bottle.

2. Place the lid on the bottle and shake the ingredients until they are blended.

3. The texture of the ingredients will begin to change. The vegetable oil is recommended because it is derived for plants will not harm them. Pests do not like the taste of soap and especially on their food.

4. Remove the top from the bottle and add 1 liter of water from the tap.

5. Replace the lid on the bottle and shake the ingredients once again.

6. Spray the plants with the organic pesticide. You may notice that the pests remain in your garden but they will not eat the plants with the pesticide on the plants. The pesticide should not be used every day on the plants. Treat the plants with the pesticide every 10 days.
