How to Make Shower Gel
With the price of beauty products getting more expensive, it makes sense to make your own. For instance, shower gel is a product that can easily be made at home for a fraction of the cost it sells for in the store and you can make it to your own specifications.
How to Make Shower Gel
Mix 1/2 cup of unscented shampoo and 1/4 cup of water in a bowl and stir. Use unscented baby shampoo if you have sensitive skin.
If you want to create a shower gel that will exfoliate your skin, add 2 teaspoons of course ground salt to the mixture. Add 1 teaspoon at a time until you reach the desired consistency.
Add 15 drops of fragrance oil for scent.
Add a few drops of food coloring if desired.
Store the solution in a resealable container to keep the scent locked in.
