How to Make Your Own Belly Rings

Belly rings are available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. They have become so popular that many women are choosing to make their own. It is not uncommon for some women to have one to match every outfit.

If you have great abs and do not mind showing them off you should consider wearing a belly ring. It will definitely bring attention to the area, which will show off all your hard work in the gym. The rings are fairly easy to make. If you want a belly ring that looks high quality make sure you use quality materials. Nickel-free material is also recommended because it is considered as the healthiest for body piercings. Some people may be allergic to nickel and not even realize it until they experience itching and their skin begin to peel away from the nickel.

  1. Make a sketch of the type of ring you want to make.

  2. Purchase some small decorative balls and a small piece of surgical steel. These can both be purchased at a store that sells body art.

  3. Take a small piece of surgical steel and use some wire cutters to snip off the ends to the desired length of the ring.

  4. Use some needle nosed pliers to bend the piece of steel to form an arch similar to the letter "C."

  5. Use super glue to attach a ring securer onto one of decorative beads that you purchased.

  6. Allow it to dry and then push the piece of steel into the ball attached to the securer.

  7. Place the other ball on the opposite end of the wire, but do not glue it in place. This is the end that will be inserted into your piercing.
