How to Make a Mobile Car Wash Machine

In constructing a mobile car wash machine, it is easier to attach it to a pickup truck. This allows extra towing room for equipment, and the pickup truck is designed to withstand the force of heavy loads. Depending on your model of pickup truck this may hinder your gas mileage.

How to Make a Mobile Car Wash Machine:

Step 1: Mount your water tank to your pickup truck. Ensure that you have a 255 gallon water tank. This tank will provide sufficient amount of water to operate the car wash machine. Wrap two heavy duty straps around the circumference of the tank. You need four three inch bolts to secure each strap. Ensure that these straps are well tightened.

Step 2: Secure a 35 gallon soap tank next to your water tank. Mount this tank exactly as you did the water tank.

Step 3: Secure a gas-driven pressure washer close to the existing tanks. Ensure that the gas-driven pressure washer you choose is at least 13 horsepower model. Attach a feed generator to this gas-driven pressure washer per the manufacturer's instructions.

Step 4: Run your hose from your water tank to your gas-driven pressure washer. Follow the manufacturer's instructions to ensure that your hose is connected to the correct inlet. Add hoses for sprayers as directed by the manufacturer's instructions.

Step 5: Place a wet/dry shop vacuum in the back of your pickup truck. Section off portions of the truck bed for additional supplies. You can use containers or crates for this purpose.
