How to Make a Streak-Free Window Cleaner
If you have been experiencing the problem of not being able to find a good window cleaner that will not leave streaks on your windows you should consider making your own cleaner. Homemade streak-free window cleaner is really simple to make and it would save you from spending a lot of money on something that does not work.
How to Make a Streak-Free Window Cleaner
- Fill up a thirty-two ounce or larger plastic spray bottle with distilled water and add 3 tablespoons of baby shampoo. The baby shampoo made by Johnson and Johnson is a great choice, but it does not matter what brand of shampoo you use. You can use a recycled bottle you have laying around the house, which will save you money on purchasing a new one.
- Place the top on the bottle and shake well.
- Spray a liberal amount of the homemade cleaner on the windows and wipe clean with a paper towel. You can also wad up a piece of old newspaper to wipe the windows with, which has proven to work well. This cleaner is a lot better than the cleaners that are sold in the store and is not only much better for the environment, but it is also more economical.
