- Go to your bank and set up your checking account online. Your bank will give you a username and password that you will use to sign onto their website. Ask your bank if they offer bill pay. If so, set it up with your bank.
- Navigate to your bank website and get into the Bill Pay portion of the site. Set up your student loan account on the site. Set it up with the correct due date so the amount of your student loan payment will automatically deduct from your checking account each month.
- Make sure the payment for your student loan is reflected on your checking account statement each month. Ensure that it is being sent to your student loan account on the correct date so it will not be late.
