How to Perform Stage Hypnosis

If you know anything about hypnosis then you know it can really work. Performing stage hypnosis is something that often occurs in front of an audience. Before you get on stage be sure to practice on others and get the hang of the process of hypnosis.

  1. Research hypnosis completely before you decide to perform it on stage. When you perform it on stage you will be in front of others. Understanding the ins-and-outs of hypnosis is very important.

  2. Find a hypnosis technique that you understand and that can be done with ease. Various forms of hypnosis techniques include clapping, counting and the actual hypnosis.

  3. Explain to your audience and your client that this is a very safe technique. This is not a form of manipulation but instead a form of help. Hypnosis can help a person understand some of their actions and feelings.

  4. Perform a “teaser” for the audience. You want to involve them as much as possible and do a short but sweet version of hypnosis on your assistant or volunteer.

  5. Involve the audience as much as possible. You can invite whomever you like to participate in the audience to make your performance more comfortable. The more familiar faces you see in the audience, then the better you will perform.

  6. Gather your volunteers and begin your stage hypnosis methods.

  7. Relax your volunteers and tell them what they will do while they are under hypnosis. You can incorporate the snapping of your fingers to bring your volunteers back to reality.
