How to Print Bird's Eye View Maps
Printing a bird's eye view of maps can help you with directions or to better see the neighborhood. There are a few websites you can go to and type in the addresses and then print the results. This is very useful and can help you to navigate an area that you are unfamiliar with or planning to travel to.
- Go to Mapquest and either enter the address you wish to see a bird's eye view of or
click on the “Get Directions." You will now have an A and B box.
In the first box (A), type in the address you are coming from and in
box B type in the address you are going to. Many times, suites will
not show up on the map, so you might want to leave off the suite
from either address so that it does not confuse the satellite. - Click on “Get Directions” and
if the satellites are in place, you will be able to see the bird's
eye view of the direction. In the right side of the page, you can
zoom the image if you wish, or just send it to the printer by
clicking on the “Print” button in the upper right corner of the
site. - Check out Yahoo
Maps as they also allow you to print out the bird's eye view
maps in the same way that Mapquest does. Just type in the to and
from address, and click on the “Print” to send directly to your
print. - Go to Google
Maps. Click on “Get Directions” and type in your to and from
locations. Zoom if you need to get a closer view of your direction
or image. In the upper right hand corner click the printer icon,
which sends the map to your printer.
