How to Recycle Tires

Recycling is not only good for the environment, it is also a way to save money by creating new products out of older products that you once used. There are so many different and unique ways to recycle tires especially because so many different things can be made from tires.

Start the recycling process by deciding what you would like to turn your recycled tires into.

Tire Planter

  1. Take your tire and place it directly in your garden.

  2. Fill the tire up with plenty of dirt and soil.

  3. Place seeds in the soil so that different types of plants will grow in your garden. The tire will give your garden a modern urban look.

Tire Swing

  1. Purchase thick rope that will be used when you are tying your tire to a tree.

  2. Strategically place the thick rope around one side of the tire. You will probably need help hanging the tire swing up.

  3. Tie the thick rope around a thick and supportive tree branch. You will most likely need a ladder to read the tree branch.

  4. Test the tire swing out before allowing others to use it. You would not want the tire swing to break while someone else is on it.

Recycling Centers

Take the recycled tires to a recycling company if you have no want or need for the tires. A recycling company will use recycled tires to produce fuel and rubber. Other products can be made from the rubber that comes from recycled tires. Recycled tires are also often used for different construction projects.
